This Simple Graphic Is All You Need To Eat Right
Dr. Teicholz's Low-Carb/Keto Food Pyramid Is In Effect!
The Food Pyramid was first published in the US in the early 90s by the USDA.
It recommended 6-11 servings of carbohydrate heavy breads, cereals, rice & pasta daily which we now understand contributes to energy toxicity, a direct correlate to the obesity and diabetes epidemics we are now experiencing in this country.
Nina Teicholz has been a bonafide rock star in the battle to combat the carb heavy Standard American Diet and to clearly communicate the benefits of a Low Carb and ketogenic diets.
Two weeks ago, Dr. Teicholz & colleagues published a paper in the peer-reviewed journal Nutrients which included a Low-Carb / Ketogenic Food Pyramid.
