Play

We work too much but don't play enough.

We think that play is something for kids but that is a mistake.

Play is essential like dreaming and moving. It is how we decompress, construct potential realities, and develop creativity.

Yet we’re so up in our heads, we forget to play or we just abandoned it.

Maybe we’re just too busy overthinking, attending to noise like it matters, and reading so much garbage.

It’s an imbalance - too long data (or what we think is data) and too short intuition. This is the recipe for rigidity and misery.

Losing ourselves in play gives our mind and body freedom to create, experiment, and expand. This is the recipe for finding ourselves.
